Starting Sept 1, You Can Buy Beer And Wine Earlier On Sunday In Texas

Texas based Shiner Beer reminded everyone in Texas that Starting September 1, you can buy beer and wine on Sundays at 10:00 a.m., that’s two hours earlier than you could before.  So if your cookout or event is short a few bottles, you don’t have to wait until noon anymore.

The Texas legislature passed the new expanded hours to buy “soft alcohol” on the “Lord’s Day” back on May 28, House Bill 1518 passed in a vote of 115-24.  Shiner Beer said in a tweet, “We can only assume the 24 naysayers have fully stocked fridges.”
