The hugely popular California based In-N-Out Burger has announced its fourth location for the Houston metro area will be located next the Woodlands Mall where the old Sweet Tomatoes was located at 1717 Lake Woodlands Drive, The Woodlands, TX.
Company assistant Vice-President Mike Abbate said the site is in early development and could not yet give a timeline or date when the new store will open.
If the opening goes like the other three stores that opened in the Houston area, there could be up to a 2-hour wait in the drive thru or a 20 minute wait to get inside to eat during the grand opening period. Existing locations continue to see strong demand well after they opened indicating In-N-Out Burger is not taking a huge risk by opening another location.
Currently there are In-N-Out Burger locations in Katy, Sugarland and Willowbrook near the Willowbrook Mall. There are also locations in the DFW metroplex, Austin and San Antonio.
In-N-Out Burger President Lynsi Snyder previously stated Texas was its final state expansion and that the company will not expand further east, leaving the eastern half of the United States without the popular burger chain.
