295,000 Pounds Of Beef Recalled Due To E. Coli Contamination

The USDA has announced a recall of dozens of raw beef products after inspectors discovered E. Coli in some products that were distributed to Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota and Nebraska.  Products marked with the USDA label “EST. 960A” are covered in the recall regardless of where the beef product ultimately ended up.

Most cuts of been affected in this recall are trims, brisket and ribeye said the USDA.  The agency also noted that they have not received any notifies of anyone getting sick from any of the contaminated beef product.
